The Danish Society of Engineers, IDA, and EKTOS invite to a guided tour at EKTOS’ labs

Do you or any of your colleagues need a better understanding of what accredited testing of electronics mean in reality? In cooperation with The Danish Society of Engineers, IDA, we are happy to invite for a guided tour in our Copenhagen labs on Tuesday 4 September.

Register for the event here – deadline for registration is 31 August, 16.00.

The EKTOS group consists of four companies, each one handling its specific share in the creation of electronic products. EKTOS Testing & Reliability Services, in short EKTOS TRS, is a testlab, accredited by DANAK. At the guided tour, you will get to know how electronic products are tested in the EMC-chamber, and how climatic and mechanical tests are being performed.

Depending on the product itself, and in which markets it will be sold, various approvals are required. Therefore, the work in the accredited EKTOS labs is situated at the crossroads between client and authorities. After the guided tour, these challenges will be discussed, especially in relation to the relatively new Radio Equipment Directive (RED).

Participants will also have an opportunity to learn more about the synergies between the three working areas of the EKTOS group: development, testing, and manufacturing of electronics.

A light meal will be served after the tour.
