TRS EKTOS Hosted SPM erfa-gruppe 17, HALT/HASS Meeting in STRUER

EKTOS’ Testing and Reliability Services -TRS hosted the SPM erfa-gruppe 17, HALT/HASS Meeting on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at its facility in Struer. The erfa experience exchange group members convened to connect and share their experiences about HALT and HASS.

The topics covered by this group include HALT and HASS relationships to other tests, method advantages and limitations, relevant impacts, equipment, error mechanisms, analysis, modification implementation, and practical experience. It’s a valuable knowledge-sharing forum to enhance the utilization of this effective testing technology.

At this meeting, Henrik Brosbøl, Managing Director at TRS alongside Niels Martin Jørgensen, Managing Director, EKTOS Group, shared their experience with HALT at EKTOS. They spoke about the future attitude to HALT testing as a development tool and why HALT is often rejected by younger engineers and companies when HALT can improve product quality. At the meeting, Force presented one of their previous analyses, which gave rise to a good dialogue.
