What is DANAK?
DANAK is the national accreditation body in Denmark, appointed by The Danish Safety Technology Authority. DANAK checks and verifies the company’s processes, routines, procedures, and the employees’ competencies. Furthermore, DANAK verifies that equipment is calibrated, and checks that measuring results are reliable and accurately recorded.
What is ILAC MRA?
ILAC MRA is an agreement signed by regional accreditation bodies. The ILAC MRA enhances the acceptance of products across national borders and removes the need for additional calibration, testing, and inspection of imports and exports. Like e.g. SWEDAC, UKAS, and DAR DANAK has signed the international agreements of recognition of reports and certifications from other accreditation bodies.
In our two test laboratories we offer pre-compliance testing assisting our customers during the development of their product. We are happy to review and give advice on how to comply with the given standards. Pre-compliance testing often do not include reporting.
EKTOS has a state-of-the art HALT chamber in Struer, Denmark. HALT testing helps improve robustness and reliability of electronic and mechanical products greatly. HALT identifies as many weak points as possible within the shortest possible time span by combining vibrations with high/low temperature transitions. This allows the development engineer to identify, analyze, and eliminate weak points of the product before manufacturing and sale of the product.
We offer introduction workshops and carry out HALT-days in Struer where you can learn more about HALT testing and try it out for yourself. Contact us now and book a time or find out how HALT-testing can benefit your product.
