Advanced UAV Systems and Integrated Electronics at International Drone Show 2025

The International Drone Show 2025 reaffirmed its position as one of Europe’s premier unmanned systems events.
With over 100 exhibitors and 1,800 attendees, the show focused on UAS, C-UAS technologies, and multi-domain integration, bringing together experts from defense, commercial, industrial automation, and advanced electronics sectors.
Over two days in Odense, key stakeholders from across the drone ecosystem gathered to exchange technical knowledge, explore emerging technologies, and foster cross-sector collaboration.
The event highlighted the increasingly interdisciplinary nature of drone systems, attracting UAV platform developers, AI and autonomy specialists, RF and communications engineers, component manufacturers, and regulatory experts.
Beyond the technical panels and keynote sessions with 50+ speakers, 28 live demonstrations provided a practical showcase of advancements in areas such as autonomous flight control, payload integration, electronic warfare countermeasures, and spectrum management. The HCA Airport venue in Odense served as an ideal backdrop for these real-world evaluations.
Among the exhibitors, Danish firm EKTOS presented its end-to-end capabilities in embedded firmware development, RF system design, regulatory compliance testing, and manufacturing services for UAV and defense applications.
A highlight of the event was engaging directly with UAV developers to discuss complex technical challenges and how EKTOS supports the entire product lifecycle—from initial design and system integration to certification readiness.
“The technological maturity on display this year underscores the importance of collaborative engineering support,” said Niels Holme, Sales Director at EKTOS.
“We support drone manufacturers throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial design and system integration to certification readiness, enabling our partners to accelerate development timelines while maintaining high standards of reliability and compliance.”
As industry partnerships evolve following this year’s event, the International Drone Show continues to reinforce its role as a critical touchpoint for technical advancement and collaborative innovation in the global UAV sector.
